Our tuition is online, one-to-one, and built around Cambridge IGCSE. An experienced teacher is assigned to you anywhere in Malaysia, and the first step is a paid one-hour trial starting from RM80 at that teacher’s confirmed rate.
Everything after the trial (fees, schedule, support) is arranged directly between you and the teacher. You see the real teaching before you decide anything further.
Who does this tuition suit?
It suits a student who can follow the example in class but freezes on a fresh question. The understanding looks present, yet it does not transfer, and a teacher watching your working can find the exact step where it breaks.
It suits a student whose last tuition felt generic: a worksheet programme that moved at the same speed whatever the student understood. It suits a student returning after missed classes with an uneven backlog, and one who is quiet in class and would rather ask a precise question in private.
It also suits the student with an exam approaching who needs a realistic plan for the weeks left, without panic. A teacher can sort what to fix first from what can wait.
Some students need less than this. If the syllabus and past papers are working for you, self-study may be enough, and the lessons and practice on this site are there for that.
What can individual teaching actually change?
It changes who does the thinking. In a video or a worked solution, the expert does the reasoning and you watch. In a one-to-one lesson you do the reasoning and the teacher responds to it.
Here is a small example from Mathematics.
A student solves 3x + 5 = 2x − 7 and writes x = −2. The teacher does not simply give the answer. They ask the student to substitute back: the left side is −1, the right side is −11, so something is off.
The student traces it and finds the slip: moving 2x across and getting 5x instead of x. The fix is one habit, “do the same to both sides, and write it down”, and the next three questions confirm it holds. A video could not have seen that particular slip.
The same kind of move works in other subjects. A Biology teacher reads a six-mark answer with you and marks which sentences earn credit. An English teacher listens to how you plan a paragraph before you write it.
There are honest limits. One lesson cannot replace practice you do yourself, and no teacher can promise a particular grade. What a teacher can do is find the real problem faster and show you how to practise it.
How does it work, step by step?
- Enquire on WhatsApp. Tell us the subject, your level and what is going wrong. Extra details such as preferred days or language can be discussed in the conversation.
- A teacher is assigned. We assign an experienced teacher for your subject and confirm that teacher’s rate for the trial.
- Attend the paid one-hour trial. It is a real lesson on your own material. The trial agenda builder helps you prepare two sticking points to bring.
- Decide together. Afterwards you and the teacher talk through whether and how to continue. The post-trial reflection guide gives you questions to think about.
Detail on each step is in how it works, the trial terms are in the trial page, and later arrangements are covered in after the trial.
What about cost?
The trial starts from RM80. It is “from” because each assigned teacher has a confirmed rate, and you are told the exact figure before the lesson. From RM80 explained walks through this.
For lessons afterwards there is no published price list here, because we would only be guessing. The figure that matters is the one the teacher confirms to you, and you can ask about it openly during or after the trial. If budget is tight, say so early, and consider short topic help versus ongoing study and choosing which subjects to prioritise.
Is online really as good as in person?
For IGCSE work, most of what matters is the conversation and the written working, and both travel well online. Students show their working by camera, tablet or shared screen, depending on what they have. Read online versus in-person for a fair comparison, and use the readiness check to see whether your setup works.
There is no branch to visit, because the service is online for the whole of Malaysia. A student in a small town gets the same kind of lesson as one in a city.
What does “9,000+ students helped” mean?
“9,000+ students helped through our service” is a service-wide figure supplied by the team. It is not a measure of exam results, and it does not break down by subject or grade. The service-evidence page explains exactly what it does and does not tell you.
