We are a team of teachers who care about how each student learns. Our service is online one-to-one Cambridge IGCSE tuition for students anywhere in Malaysia. One teacher works with one student, looks at that student’s actual work and adjusts the explanation until the idea makes sense.
This area is for teachers who would like to express interest in joining that team. It is not a job advertisement for a particular opening.
What does teaching with us involve?
You teach a single student at a time in a live online lesson. You explain the idea, choose an example that suits that student, watch the student try a question and give feedback on the reasoning, not only the answer. The work is closer to a careful conversation than to a lecture.
Lessons are for Cambridge IGCSE subjects. Students may be in Form 4 or Form 5, in Year 10 or Year 11, or preparing as private candidates through an exam centre. You do not handle exam registration, because that belongs to the student’s school or exam centre.
Who are we looking to hear from?
Teachers with experience in a Cambridge IGCSE subject, including full-time school teachers, college lecturers and private teachers. We would like to know:
- which subjects and syllabus codes you teach,
- how many years you have taught,
- how you explain a difficult idea, ideally with an original example of your own.
The subject teaching interests page describes what good IGCSE teaching looks like in each subject, so you can see where you fit.
How do I express interest?
Message the IGCSE Tuition Team on WhatsApp. How to apply gives the exact message to send. Before you send a CV, read how we handle applicant information.
If you would like to prepare first, preparing a teaching introduction and CV has a short checklist, and online one-to-one teaching readiness covers the device, sound and writing set-up that makes a lesson work.
What should you know before you write?
Expressing interest does not commit us to a reply about a particular subject, a number of students, hours or pay. Teaching arrangements are discussed directly with the team after you write in. To learn more about who we are, see our teacher team.
