How we handle applicant information

A CV carries personal details, so you should know exactly where it goes before you send it.

This page explains how teacher applications are handled. It applies to teachers who write to the IGCSE Tuition Team. Student and parent enquiries are covered in our privacy notice.

What does the website collect?

This website does not collect your CV, your name or your contact details. There is no upload form, no email capture and no applicant account. Your CV, filename and details are not placed in web addresses or in website analytics.

The website may use analytics in aggregate to understand how pages are used. That measurement does not include the content of your application.

What do you send, and where does it go?

You open a WhatsApp conversation with the IGCSE Tuition Team and send your subjects, your years of teaching experience and your CV. That information reaches the team through WhatsApp. The team reads it to decide whether to continue the conversation with you and to discuss teaching arrangements.

WhatsApp is run by a third party, so its own terms and privacy settings also apply to your messages. Check them if you have questions about how the app treats messages.

How do we treat your information?

We follow the principles of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) in Malaysia. In practice that means we use what you send for one purpose, which is to consider and discuss your interest in teaching with us, and we ask only for what that needs.

Teacher applications are kept separate from student tuition enquiries. The student trial price has nothing to do with applications, and there is no application fee.

What should I avoid sending?

Please do not send identity-document copies, bank details, home addresses or any student’s personal information. If you describe your teaching, use examples you created and do not name students.

What are your choices?

You may ask the team, in your WhatsApp conversation, what details they hold, to correct them or to remove them. This page does not give a fixed retention period, so ask the team and they will confirm directly.

Where do I go next?

Questions people ask

Does the website collect my CV?

No. The website has no CV upload, no application form and no applicant account. You send your details and attach your CV yourself in a WhatsApp conversation with the IGCSE Tuition Team.

Who reads my application?

The IGCSE Tuition Team reads what you send on WhatsApp to decide whether to continue the conversation with you. We do not use an automated screening score on this website.

What should I not send?

Do not send identity-document copies, bank details or any student's personal information. Your subjects, years of experience and CV are enough to begin.

How long do you keep my details?

This page does not state a retention period. If you want to know how long your details are kept, or ask for them to be corrected or removed, ask the team in your WhatsApp conversation. We will confirm the position directly.
