How to apply to teach with us

Applying takes one WhatsApp message, and a little preparation makes that message much easier for the team to read.

  3. What should I put for years of experience?

To express interest in teaching with the IGCSE Tuition Team, send one WhatsApp message with three things: the subjects you teach, your years of teaching experience and your CV.

What message should I send?

Copy this message, then fill in your details:

Hi IGCSE Tuition Team, I’d like to express interest in joining your team as a Cambridge IGCSE teacher. Subjects I teach: Years of teaching experience: I will attach my CV in this WhatsApp conversation.

Attach your CV to the same conversation yourself. The website does not collect it.

What should I write for subjects?

Name the subjects and, where you know them, the Cambridge codes. “Mathematics 0580” and “Additional Mathematics 0606” tell the team more than “maths”. If you teach both a main subject and a related one, such as Physics 0625 and Combined Science 0653, list both.

If you teach the subject at a level other than IGCSE, say so briefly. It helps to see the range of your experience.

What should I put for years of experience?

Give a number of years and a one-line description of where, for example in a school, a college or privately. You can add the year groups you have taught. Keep it factual.

What should the CV show?

A clear CV lists your subjects, your teaching roles and your familiarity with the Cambridge syllabus. Preparing a teaching introduction and CV has a checklist you can work through before sending.

What should I not send?

Please do not send identity documents, bank details, home addresses of students or any student’s personal information. Read applicant privacy for how applicant information is handled.

What happens next?

The team reads what you send and replies on WhatsApp. Details of any teaching arrangement are discussed directly, and nothing on this page promises a vacancy, pay, hours or students. Return to Join our team for the overview, or check online teaching readiness while you wait.

Questions people ask

Can I apply by email or through a form on the website?

No. Teacher applications come in through WhatsApp only. The website has no CV upload, no application form and no applicant account. Send your details in the conversation and attach your CV there yourself.

Should I send my identity card or bank details?

No. Please do not send identity documents, bank details or other sensitive information when you first get in touch. Your subjects, years of experience and CV are enough to start the conversation.

What happens after I send my message?

The team reads your details and replies on WhatsApp to continue the discussion. We do not set out a fixed hiring process on this page, and we do not promise a particular outcome, a timeline or a number of students.

Is the student trial fee my pay rate?

No. The trial price students see is not a teacher pay rate and not an application fee. Teachers never pay to apply. Any arrangements about teaching are discussed directly with the team.
