We teach Cambridge IGCSE online, one-to-one, to students across Melaka. The state is small, but students here still juggle different schools, different timetables and different exam routes. Online lessons let one teacher fit around your child’s.
Here is how it starts. You send a WhatsApp enquiry, an experienced teacher is assigned, and you book a paid one-hour trial at that teacher’s confirmed rate, starting from RM80.
After the trial, fees and schedules are agreed directly with the teacher. 9,000+ students helped through our service across Malaysia.
Which parts of Melaka do you serve?
Melaka has three districts, and we serve students online in all of them: Alor Gajah, Jasin and Melaka Tengah.
Students write from Melaka City, Ayer Keroh, Alor Gajah, Jasin and Masjid Tanah. These are places we serve online. All lessons are online, with teachers assigned from your enquiry.
Does a small state mean the same needs?
Not at all. Melaka students come from national schools, private schools, international schools and home study. Each has a different calendar and a different route to Cambridge papers.
A few questions decide what you need from tuition:
- Are you taking IGCSE through your school, or as a private candidate?
- Does your school teach the subject, or are you covering it alone?
- Which exam series are you aiming for, and how many months are left?
Work these out before the trial. The syllabus and exam-year navigator shows what to check on the Cambridge subject page, and the prerequisite gap explorer helps you spot missing foundations.
How do lessons fit around a Melaka school week?
Melaka schools run Monday to Friday, with Saturday and Sunday as the weekend. Weekday evenings suit shorter lessons. Saturday morning suits a longer one, with the rest of the weekend for practice.
If you study at a private or international school, the week may include later finishes or extra activities. Give the teacher your real timetable and the pattern is agreed between you. Check your school’s calendar for term dates and holidays.
Malaysia has one time zone, so there is no time difference to plan for between Melaka and any other state, including Sabah and Sarawak.
What should I prepare for online lessons?
- A laptop or tablet with camera, microphone and headphones.
- A connection tested at the hour you will study. Evenings may be busier for home networks.
- A stylus tablet or a phone held above your paper so handwritten working is visible.
- Your past-paper errors in one place. The mistake log and retest queue gives you a structure.
Test once before the trial. If anything is unclear on the day, tell the teacher at the start.
How do I check exam centre details?
Your exam centre, together with Cambridge, handles registration, entry, results and access arrangements.
If you attend a school that is a Cambridge centre, ask your exams officer. If you are a private candidate, ask your chosen centre.
Questions to ask: what is the entry deadline, what does entry cost, where will papers be sat, and how do I apply for access arrangements? Confirm every detail with the centre and with Cambridge.
