Students across Negeri Sembilan can have one-to-one Cambridge IGCSE lessons online with an experienced teacher assigned to them. There is no branch to visit: you join from home, a hostel room or wherever you have a quiet desk and a stable connection.
The service is the same as everywhere in Malaysia. This page explains what matters if you live in Negeri Sembilan.
Where in Negeri Sembilan do we serve?
We serve students in every district of the state: Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah, Jelebu, Rembau, Tampin and Jempol. That includes the towns of Seremban, Nilai, Port Dickson, Bahau, Kuala Pilah, Rembau, Tampin and Jelebu.
These are places our students join from, not offices. We do not run a centre in any of them, and this page makes no claim about teachers living nearby. The teacher assigned to you teaches online.
Why does online suit a Negeri Sembilan student?
Distances inside the state add up quickly. A student in Bahau or Jelebu and one in Seremban or Nilai live very different commutes, and a weekday class that needs an hour of travel each way can crowd out revision.
Online lessons remove the travel. The hour you book is an hour of teaching, and your evening stays free for the homework the lesson produces.
Families near the Klang Valley border sometimes compare in-person centres across a longer drive. Online one-to-one lets you compare on the thing that matters: whether the teacher explains your subject in a way that sticks.
What should you prepare before the first lesson?
Check the basics a day before, not five minutes before.
- A laptop, tablet or large phone with a working camera and microphone, and a charger close by.
- A connection you have tested in the room where you will sit. If your home Wi-Fi drops in the evening, plan a mobile data backup.
- Paper, a pen and a calculator if your subject allows one. Teachers like to see handwritten working held up to the camera.
- Your recent school work, past-paper attempts or the list of topics you are stuck on.
The online-lesson readiness check walks through this in a few minutes. The one-hour trial agenda builder helps you decide what to ask the teacher to cover.
Boarding and hostel students
If you live in a hostel or boarding school in the state, ask your warden or school about device rules and quiet study rooms before you plan lessons. Some schools limit phone or laptop use on weekdays, and that is something to settle with them first.
Agree timing with your teacher only after you know what the school allows. A weekend slot may be the simplest arrangement, and that is for you and your teacher to confirm after the trial.
Exams: what to ask your own centre
We teach; we do not enter you for exams. Registration, entry deadlines, fees, the exam venue and access arrangements belong to your exam centre and Cambridge.
Ask your centre these questions early:
- Which Cambridge series does the centre offer for my subject, and what is the entry deadline?
- Do you accept private candidates, and what extra fees apply?
- Does my subject need a practical or speaking component, and where would I sit it?
If you study without a school centre, the private-candidate readiness checklist lists what to confirm. See also exams and entry for how the process fits together.
Which subjects can you study?
Choose your subject to read how the tuition works for it:
- Mathematics
- Additional Mathematics
- English First Language
- English Second Language
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Global Perspectives
- French
- Business
- History
- Computer Science
- Accounting
- ICT
- Combined Science
- Economics
- Coordinated Sciences
- Geography
- Malay
- Chinese
How does the trial work?
The first step is a paid one-hour trial lesson, charged at your assigned teacher’s confirmed rate and starting from RM80. The actual rate is confirmed before the lesson, and it is a taught class, not a consultation.
Enquire on WhatsApp with your subject, your year and the topic you want to tackle. After the trial, fees and schedule are confirmed directly between you and your teacher. The full process is on how it works, and you can read about the trial first.
More than 9,000 students have been helped through our service across Malaysia. Neighbouring state pages: Melaka, Selangor and Pahang.
