This set mixes the five skills of Second-language expression: paragraph purpose, formality, cohesive links, paraphrase and self-review.
Questions rise from easy to harder, and no marks are attached. Chinese stays in Simplified Chinese, with pinyin where it helps. Names and passages are invented.

Q1 (easy). Which sentence is the point of a paragraph about school uniforms? (A) 我认为学校应该保留校服。 (B) 我的校服是蓝色的。 (C) 昨天我穿了校服。

(A). It states an opinion the paragraph can support. (B) and (C) are facts without a direction.
Q2 (easy). Which pronoun suits a message to a principal: 你 or 您?

Q5 (medium). Remove the sentence that drifts: 我们应该多喝水。水能帮助身体排出废物。我昨天看了一部电影。因此,每天喝水是个好习惯。

Remove 我昨天看了一部电影。 The film has nothing to do with drinking water. The remaining sentences give the point, a reason and the closing.
Q6 (medium). Rewrite for a teacher you do not know: 老师,你明天有空吗?

Q7 (medium). Join with 因为 and 所以: 路上塞车。我迟到了。

Q8 (medium). Spot the changed stance. Original: 运动可能有助于减压。Paraphrase: 运动一定能减压。

Q9 (harder). Write a four-sentence paragraph (point, reason, example, closing) for the point 我认为学生应该学会管理时间。

Q10 (harder). A speaker recorded: 去图书馆,那个,借书。然后,嗯,看书。Review it against the six-point checklist and suggest one fix.

Answer: unclear, because no question is stated. Order: weak, since 然后 appears but no ending. Links: thin. Tone: neutral. Words: 那个 fills a gap. Fluency: two stops. One fix: add the purpose and an ending: 我去图书馆借书。首先找到书,接着办手续,最后带回家看。 Fix one or two points, then speak again.

Log every slip in the mistake log and retest queue with the corrected sentence. Practise paraphrase in the summary selection and paraphrase studio, and compare drafts in the writing revision compare view.
